Dzień Matki [Mother's Day]

nadchodzi dość podły moment studenckiego życia - zaliczenia i sesja. wszystkie obijające się jednostki nagle wykazują żywe zainteresowanie notatkami i innymi materiałami. wszyscy spryciarze podwajają swoją efektywność w ściąganiu. wszystkie nerwusy (między innymi ja) zaczynają siedzieć po nocach, żeby nauczyć się wszystkiego, nie rezygnując jednak z Facebooka, Kwejka, słuchania w międzyczasie muzyki i, przy nagłym zrywie systematyczności, blogowania! oczywiście jak zawsze w takich momentach uruchamia mi się kreatywność, wszystko jest ciekawe, a pokój musi być idealnie wysprzątany.

lousy times in every student's life are coming - credits and exams. all the lazy ones are suddenly interested in gathering notes and other materials. all the canny ones are now twice as effective as earlier when cheating on tests. all the nervous ones (like me) start burning the midnight oil in order to learn everything and somehow still to have time for Facebook and other websites, listening to music and, when I suddenly get systematic, blogging! of course, as always in such moments, my creativity is thriving, everything is interesting and my room must be perfectly cleaned.

w dzisiejszym (nocnym) szybkim poście (zaraz idę odsypiać) prezent dla Mamy, oczywiście wręczony w niedzielę. grejpfrutowa sól do kąpieli z Marizy, krem energetyzujący na dzień z Nivei i lakier do paznokci Maybelline. bardzo praktycznie - ale taka jest moja mama, nie dla niej bibeloty i słodkie drobiazgi. 

in today's (tonight's) quick post (I need to sleep off) you can see the gift for the Mum, handed to her by me and my sister on Sunday. grapefruit bath salt from Mariza (Polish cosmetic brand), energising day cream from Nivea and nail polish from Maybelline. very practical - but so is my mother, she doesn't enjoy trinkets and all those cute little things.

lubicie jeździć na rowerze? ja w zasadzie tak, ale zawsze miałam rower górski i jeździłam rekreacyjnie, a nie żeby dojechać w jakieś konkretne miejsce. od tygodnia mam rower miejski (tak właściwie mamy go w domu, nie jest tylko mój) i dziś po raz pierwszy na niego wskoczyłam. było super! jest wysoki, wygodnie się jedzie i podczas jazdy mam proste plecy. i do tego ładnie wygląda, przynajmniej moim zdaniem (jak na zdjęciu, tylko jest cały czarny i ma brązowe siodełko). jedyny minus to brak amortyzatorów - ale gdyby w mojej (tymczasowo rozkopanej) dzielnicy były przyzwoite drogi i chodniki, to nie byłoby żadnego problemu. jeśli w ten weekend pogoda dopisze, postaram się pojechać rowerem na uczelnię, żeby zobaczyć, ile mi to zajmie. byłoby super jeździć codziennie rowerem zamiast autobusem!

do you like cycling? basically I do but I always had a mountain bike and I cycled recreationally, not in order to get to any particular place. I have a city bike for a week (in fact I've got it at home and it's not only mine) and today I've used it for the first time. it was great! the bike is high, driving is very comfortable and I can sit straight. and I think it looks good (like in the picture, but the bike is black and the saddle is brown). the only disadvantage is lack of shock absorbers - but if there were good roads, pavements and cycling paths in my district (which is currently undergoing some roadworks), everything would be fine. if it doesn't rain this weekend, I'll cycle to my university to see how much time it takes. it would be great to go to the uni by bike every day!

today I had a particular purpose, I went to the Rossmann shop, they have a great discount now: -40% on make-up and face care products. unfortunately I think it's only in Poland.

to świetna okazja, żeby kupić droższe kosmetyki. kupiłam podkład Max Factor Colour Adapt, używam go od listopada i jestem strasznie zadowolona. kupiłam też krem Nivea Make-Up Starter. to chyba dość nowy produkt, znalazłam próbkę w gazecie i dla mojej cery jest świetny. jest połączeniem kremu i bazy, skóra jest po nim gładka, a makijaż dłużej się trzyma i skóra prawie wcale się nie błyszczy. słoiczek 50 ml kosztuje 20 zł. bardzo polecam :)

I bought the Max Factor Colour Adapt foundation, I've been using it since November and it's great. my new discovery is Nivea Make-Up Starter cream, in fact it's cream and make-up base. skin is very smooth, make-up lasts longer and there's almost no shining. I definitely recommend it!

małe szaleństwo zakupowe [little shopping spree]

czy u Was też temperatura skoczyła tak nagle, że prawdziwa wiosna trwała może trzy tygodnie? jeszcze miesiąc temu nosiłam kozaki, a teraz wypadałoby włożyć sandałki. trochę mi to nie na rękę (lubię marudzić!), bo tydzień temu kupiłam popularne od jakiegoś czasu lordsy. wybrałam cudem znaleziony model ze złotymi noskami z Parfois, bo czarne lordsy z Zary, które wypatrzyłam wcześniej w internecie, były już wyprzedane.

has the temperature risen so abruptly in the places where you live that the real spring lasted only three weeks? a month ago I had to wear high boots and now it's high time to wear sandals. I'm not really happy about it (I like complaining!) because I bought new shoes last week - loafers, this model has been popular for some time. I found this pair in Parfois, unfortunately the ones I had seen earlier on Zara website were already sold out.

jestem zachwycona wyglądem tych butów, ale zdążyły mnie już obetrzeć do tego stopnia, że poczułam się jak fashion victim. mam wielką nadzieję, że to tylko dlatego, że są nowe i wkrótce będzie lepiej.

I'm delighted with this shoes but they've already rubbed on my feet so much that I felt like a fashion victim. I hope it's only because they're new and they'll get more flexible soon.

muszę przyznać, że nie zwracałam wcześniej specjalnej uwagi na lordsy, ale niedawno tak się akurat złożyło, że potrzebowałam czarnych butów na wiosnę, bo żadnych nie miałam - torby zresztą też nie (duży błąd). na pewno wiecie, że najtrudniej znaleźć coś prostego i klasycznego - na niemalże każdych czarnych butach były jakieś ćwieki, cekiny, kokardy. te z Parfois mają złoty nosek, ale uważam, że wyglądają elegancko. kupiłam też czarną torbę, to chyba trochę nienowoczesne, ale lubię mieć buty i torbę w tym samym kolorze.

I must say I hadn't paid too much attention to loafers earlier, but recently I've decided to buy black shoes that I could wear in spring, because I didn't have any. in fact I had neither black shoes nor a black bag (big mistake). you probably know that it's quite difficult to find something simple and classic - there were flowers, studs, sequins on all the shoes! the ones I bought have golden toecaps but I think they look elegant. I bough a black bag too, it may be a bit obsolete but I like having shoes and bags in the same colour.

najważniejszym kryterium przy wyborze torby jest dla mnie pojemność, bo dziwnym trafem zawsze mam ze sobą mnóstwo rzeczy. ta jest całkiem spora :) zupełnym przypadkiem zwróciłam uwagę na perfumy z Zary - nigdy nie spodziewałam się, że mogą ładnie pachnieć, ale są super! lekko słodkie, przyjemny zapach na lato, cena też przyjemna - 30 złotych. skusiłam się jeszcze na kolczyki z Parfois, uwielbiam ich drobiazgi.

the capacity is the most important factor to me, funnily enough I always have plenty of things with me. this one is quite big :) by accident I noticed Zara perfume - I had never expected it could smell good, but it's great! a bit sweet, a nice fragrance for summer, its price was nice too - 30 PLN, something like 7-8 euro. by the way I got tempted by Parfois earrings, I love their trinkets.

a oto pierwsza rzecz, którą wyciągnęłam z szafy babci! to duża, kwadratowa chusta (wymiary: 1x1m). wiele dziewczyn robi tak od dawna, ale jakoś nigdy nie byłam przekonana do noszenia babcinych ubrań - mimo jej licznych zachęt i chęci obdarowania mnie i mojej siostry miliardem swetrów.

and here's the first thing I took from my grandma's wardrobe! it's a big scarf (measurements: 1x1m). many girls have been doing it for a long time but I was never convinced of wearing grandma's clothes - in spite of her numerous incentives an willingness to give me and my sister a billion of jumpers.

i na koniec nowe odkrycie muzyczne! bardzo rzadko oglądam talent shows, wyjątek uczyniłam dla pierwszej edycji The Voice of Poland, drugiej nie oglądam, ale posłuchałam paru nagrań w internecie i zachwyciła mnie Natalia Nykiel! dlatego jutro wieczorem grzecznie siądę przed telewizorem i będę oglądać!

and finally - my new musical discovery! I hardly ever watch talent shows, I made an exception for the first edition of The Voice of Poland, now I don't watch the second one, but I've listened to a few recordings on the Internet and I'm in love with Natalia Nykiel's voice! that's why tomorrow I'll be sitting obediently on front of TV and waiting for her performance!
